Tunisia adventure stories.

Tunisia: exotic, surprising, sticky, hospitable, simple, traditional but modern … Are some of your words come to mind when you returning from a vacation in June Tunisia. Country located in northern Africa offers many surprises, and you cuceresete exotic country, although the EU can, for example, was not fully taste it. African Zulu dance nights with animals “black continent” in Zoo Friguia, job history, even sea water to boil are almost as many reasons to visit Tunisia. Sousse – Mediterranean sea pearl “- is one of the largest cities in Tunisia, most dynamic development in tourism and my vacation destination.

2 o’clock and half-way. By plane, of course. Cluj Napoca – Tunis, Carthage. I board the ship thinking that you take off the delay accurately. No way. Not one minute. The plane belonging to a company in Tunisia – all services. In any case not to think like a reach in the third world. I have flown, but with firms in Romania, and after travel has always taste bitter, hence the surprise of the conditions of flight to Africa.

Dep. Fri-board attendants smiling with trays full of juice, coffee and snacks and I did not realize how the past two and a half hours. Approaching landing, smooth – like you run a car, not a plane. We arrived in Tunis, but not before two Golfs over the city, frunos lit evening hours (22.00, two hours ago to Romania).

Control of swine flu
Not even get to walk over scale airplane, as it says “Stop”. “Hmmm … I know me that happiness is short-lived and that will pay anything.’s Just Africa”, I said in thought, trying to get over prejudice. I happened not only to me. Each passenger had to go through a device that measure body temperature. Oh, forgot already … swine flu. I am OK, so move on.

The following control. My passport was checked and then had to write identification on a piece of cardboard. Good … Vasile Dale, journalist, Romania, Baia Mare, street … I thought I took questions for my job, but … are promptly asked if I vebit in documentation. They explain that are just on vacation, so I stretch and documents passed to the second customs inspection. Quickly and efficiently. Never even had to give my belt to the pants, as we have been asked in Cluj, or shoes I like in Romania.

Destination: Sousse
Okay I finished with the formalities. On leaving the airport, the air was hot, unbreathable compared to that of Romania. It was past 22.30 (0.30 in Romania) and was very, very hot. Good luck with air conditioning in the coach. I have something to go to the destination. That is a journey of 1 hour and 45 minutes to the city Sousse. On the highway, we are not in Romania. Height, even the Africans have roads, but we do not. Despite grab me, nothing else. The great Mosque and Medina, the main attractions And … holiday begins. Sousse city and the surroundings are fantastic. Sea water, although very hot, invites you to a bathing beach and the sand is soft as a bed. Food but … And after I got home I wondered what was an “imbarligaturile” what I was served at lunch and dinner and if what was written on the menu was in plate. However, I came all right, so … Although more difficult digestible, worth trying culinary specifics of the country.
The following special African night. For the record, in May on a ride on the cliff inserted, to not be surprised if you are approached by Tunisian who will ask if you do not need and a “joint” for a better mood. In Sousse, attractions are the Great Mosques of a thousand years, catacombs Romanian period, but modern architecture of the alley Habib Bourghiba, narrow streets of Medina to the multitude of small shops, restaurants, bars, and especially traditional markets.

The Hut with Shaka Zulu
If you go on vacation in Tunisia should really take part in an exceptional show supported by Zulu – natives who interpreteza traditional African dances. I have seen the show in a huge tent – Shaka Hut, which is located halfway between Hammamet and Sousse, about 70 kilometers from the capital Tunis.
Another place – where and adults, and children can feel good – is Friguia Zoo, where 62 species, over 400 animals on an area of 36 hectares. The park, opened on November 11, 2000, is privately owned and its main purpose is to save species of animals extinct or endangered.

Friguia Animal Park, a zoo on 36 acres
Animals live in an environment totally unique. Basically, the park employees try to give them Tunisian conditions close to those offered by the natural environment. Moreover, by this is tried re animals in the natural environment after a period of adjustment to the Friguia Animal Park. Tunisian park plan for working with the Paris Zoo.
Inside Friguia Animal Park are restaurants, places of recreation, entertainment place and turistiii can walk on camels, in a place especially arranged on an area of 8 hectares. To reach Friguia Animal Park should start in Tunis (by train or bus) or in Sousse (coach).

Return bumpy in Romania
Sun, water, visits to tourist attractions, and day and night. No, I never realized how quickly time passed. After 7 days retrace to the airport. Boarding the plane just in time. No delay. Flight super. Up to Cluj Napoca where we had a terrible landing. The pilot and apologized, saying that the runway is very short and very bad. Well, about that: we live in Romania.

I have not got to leave the plane as I already got blood. Employees from the Cluj airport baggage slam as boxing bags. A bag just fell from the band. I look more closely. It was mine, and inside they were presents for those at home … Now be sure to go back to Tunisia.

Bucharest (Romania)

Bucharest is a beautiful, large and monumental city, and that is the most beautiful European city after Paris by my opinion.Bucharest is a magnificent city of parks, large avenues and beautiful architecture that was built mostly of French and Italian architects. Even has its triumphal arch, slightly less than it was in Paris, but equally beautiful.

While I drive to the hotel I could not hide excitement about the building which we passed. Here’s an example: on the ruins of the building of the former secret intelligence service Securities, was built a modern building of dark green glass which simply fits in. What are not fitting are the dirty streets and cars. Reportedly, there is not enough water drains at the streets and the city is not easy to wash. The city is full of hotels, boutiques, fashion clothing brands and a variety of American fast food chains. The city has 69 hotels, of which 12 with five stars.
Palace of Parliament is the magnificent building. When I saw it I left breathless. Palace of the Parliament is the second largest building in the world, after the Pentagon! Apparently there are 1100 rooms, and how large is above ground, also is large below.  700 architects worked on it. Below the building is located a bunker that was so equipped.

Today concerts are held there. From its large windows you have a view of perhaps the most beautiful boulevard that I have ever seen, Unirii Blvd. Long until the horizon, and with the fountain in the middle. Magnificent sight.
Bucharest is one of the most beautiful cities that I saw. There I was taught to reject all prejudice about anything.
